a christmas gift

Here's a card I threw together this afternoon for my husband to give his Secret Santa gift at tonight's company party. It's pretty simple, but hopefully it will be noticed right along with the fabulous Spafinder gift card inside!

The little metal coin at the top says "Merry Christmas" with a little tree, and the metal plate gives the receiver the stern command "better not pout!" ;)

thank you, Miss Lime!

I was featured recently in a post on weddingbee.com by blogger Miss Lime. She's a wonderful friend of mine who's planning her own August 2007 wedding.

Based on her post, I've received quite a few inquiries about my services, and I'm hoping to be able to help all of these brides with their stationery/invitation needs! Everyone's colors sound absolutely gorgeous, and I can't wait to get started :)

So, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU MISS LIME!!

a company is born.

I've been designing and assembling cards/invitations/other fun paper stuff for ages. So I thought, maybe I could help out those folks who really want customized paperie items, but don't have the time?

And so, pink paper designs was born.

My first official order was for a set of shower invitations for a bride using various shades of green, ivory, and espresso. Her maid of honor is a sweetheart whom I got to know via the Knot's message boards, and she took pity on me and became my first client!

The final product:

And here's how they were presented:

What can I say? I love pink. I love paper. So there you have it!
